Aidan Egan Sand & Gravel Ltd., have taken delivery of a new Finlay J-1170DD Jaw Crusher for their quarry operation at Drumgoold, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. Replacing a Pegson Premiertrak 11650 the company have been impressed with the performance and fuel efficiency of the new Finlay J-1170 Direct Drive Jaw crusher. The J-1170 comes equipped with a Scania DC9 constant speed engine, 1100 x 700 jaw opening, Hydraulic Deflector plate, twin pole magnet, bypass (dirt) conveyor, heavy duty grizzly pan feeder, T-Link telematics system, hydraulic raise / lower main conveyor etc.
Used as the primary crusher in the quarry, the J-1170 has been proving its robust build quality crushing the high quality hard blue stone at the quarry in Drumgoold.
